Our brief was to identify and attract an exceptionally talented Sales and Operations Director to drive significant change and profitable growth across this well-established retail brand.

Business growth had reached a plateau and the business required a leader to inject a strong sales focus and restructure the legacy retail operating model, while retaining their deserved reputation for excellent customer service.

The Process

To enable our client to appoint the very best candidate, our research team identified and qualified the Retail Director of every appropriate business in the UK, as well as the Divisional/Regional Directors from larger retailers.

Concurrently the team networked to identify hidden talent, resulting in numerous recommendations. The combination of meticulous desk-based research and generating referrals from our network ultimately delivered a shortlist of talented, culturally suitable candidates.
