We were tasked with appointing a world-class Talent and Development Director who would support our client's ambition of becoming the leading partner for consumer goods businesses.
Having been through a period of successful turnaround and subsequent cultural change, our client wanted to appoint a Talent and Development Director who would help them drive the next phase of their evolution through the design and implementation of innovative talent, learning and development and resourcing initiatives. This individual would ultimately be responsible for determining what the leadership of the organisation would look like in three years' time.
The successful candidate needed to be proactive and commercially-minded, with a robust personality in order to influence senior stakeholders and drive change throughout the organisation. Ideally, this individual would have a strong theoretical background in talent management as well a hands-on and adaptable approach, enabling them to deliver results in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Having taken time to fully understand the brief, our in-house research team compiled a list of all relevant organisations, with a particular focus on consumer-facing businesses with multi-site operations.
