The Group Chief Executive and Group People Director wanted to understand how competitors of similar complexity and scale structured their top teams. In particular the split of accountability across leadership, marketing and eCommerce teams.
We invested significant time to fully understand the brief and ensure we were clear on the desired output.
Our team then formed a list of most relevant target companies in the UK, Europe and USA. We then fully mapped out the structures within the target companies, including the board, with names, job titles and indicative teams sizes of talent at each level.
We produced a 100 page report containing both competitor and comprehensive talent intelligence.
The report included accurate organisational structure charts for the Leadership, Marketing and eCommerce functions. We presented our findings to the board and highlighted industry-wide trends. Our client was then able to implement changes to significantly improve the performance of their business.
