The Brief

Our brief was to identify and attract an exceptionally talented high-flyer with the potential to play an integral part in supporting our client with rapid growth in the UK market.

Our client was ideally looking for world-class talent from within grocery retail or FMCG. Candidates needed to be of the highest academic pedigree with naturally high levels of gravitas and the ability to communicate effectively at every level.

The Process

The Fortune Hill project team dedicated a significant amount of time to understanding the business, its key stakeholders and the client's unique culture.

The team built an extensive target list consisting of over 100 companies and 300 candidates, including searching in less obvious places for talent. We also utilised our extensive network of senior contacts to identify the best up and coming talent. All candidates went through a process which balanced dynamic attraction and rigorous assessment, ensuring our client was able to select and hire the very best individual for their requirements.

Fortune Hill enabled our client to appoint an outstanding individual, and based on this result, we were retained to work on an ongoing basis to bring additional talent to their business.
